AI usage policy
Our position
We believe in a fair, transparent, and human-centered hiring process. As AI becomes a common part of professional life, we want to be upfront about how we use it, and what we expect from you.
We don’t use AI to make hiring decisions. AI can be a helpful tool for preparation, but throughout our hiring process, it should support human thinking, not replace it. Real conversations and genuine judgment matter to us on both sides.
Candidate use of AI
Use AI to prepare and refine. Don’t use it to stand in for you during real-time conversations or to complete technical assessments.
Use AI to:
- Refine your resume, CV, or cover letter.
- Research our company, the role, or the industry to prepare for interviews.
- Practice interview questions, conduct mock interviews, or rehearse how you’d describe your experiences and skills.
- Proofread written application materials for grammar, clarity, and tone.
Do not use AI to:
- Conduct live interviews. Using AI tools, auto-complete assistants, or real-time AI suggestions during live interviews is not permitted. We’re trying to get to know you, not AI.
- Complete your technical assessment. Unless we’ve explicitly provided guidance that permits AI usage, please do not use AI to complete your technical assessments.
How we use AI
We use AI to support us in writing job descriptions, planning for interviews, refining prep material, reviewing resumes efficiently, and analyzing industry insights. We do not use AI to make hiring decisions. A human is always responsible for making these decisions.
AI tools and norms around their use in hiring are changing quickly. We are continuously revisiting this policy to ensure we evolve with it.
